Description

ABOUT STACKONE

StackOne is the universal integration layer for modern SaaS products. We’ve raised $24m in 2 years, and we’re backed by top tier investors like Google Ventures and Workday Ventures.
Our unified API platform lets vendors ship hundreds of native, white label integrations in days, not months, by abstracting away dozens of disparate third party APIs into a single, normalized interface. On top of those APIs, we provide AI Agent Actions so customers can build agentic workflows without wrangling OpenAPI specs.
StackOne sits behind the scenes as an embedded iPaaS: SOC 2 compliant, multi-tenant, and invisible to end users powering integrations for future-of-work SaaS categories such as HR, Compliance, and AI Agents.

Our customers are established B2B SaaS companies that:

  • Sell to mid market and enterprise buyers
  • Are building AI Agents
  • Need deep, native integrations to win competitive deals and power their product
  • Value time to integration over building connectors in house

We typically close OEM and embedded licensing deals, multi-year (1 to 3 year) contracts, five to seven figure TCV, with a strong land and expand model. Key buyer personas are the CPO and CTO.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A roles—ideally in a high-growth SaaS or tech startup.
  • Deep understanding of UK and US accounting, tax and payroll systems, and experience running finance operations internationally.
  • Experience helping set up and manage international entities and financial operations across multiple geographies.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Systems thinker with strong working knowledge of Xero and experience implementing or managing finance tech stack tools like Stripe, Moss, or similar.
  • You’re proactive, reliable, and love putting structure and clarity into fast-moving environments.
  • Comfortable working independently and owning end-to-end processes.
  • Bonus: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As Finance Manager, you’ll own day-to-day finance operations while helping shape the systems and structure we need to scale. You’ll be responsible for overseeing global finance operations and building the foundational processes that enable accurate reporting, cashflow planning, and compliance.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys working cross-functionally, and is excited by the challenge of setting up scalable financial systems in a global startup.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and run finance operations across the UK, US, and future countries (e.g., EU or APAC), including accounting, bookkeeping, cash management, vendor procurement and multi-entity financial reporting.
  • Manage financial operations across multiple entities, including banking, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and expense reporting.
  • Implement financial systems and processes from scratch that scale with the business (e.g., accounting tools, reporting dashboards, approvals flow).
  • Build monthly and quarterly reporting and forecasting processes to give leadership real-time financial visibility.
  • Support the annual budgeting and strategic planning process.
  • Work with external accountants and tax advisors in the UK and US to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and audit readiness.
  • Partner with People, Sales, and Operations to support hiring, commissions, and vendor contracts from a finance lens.
  • Identify and implement automation and tooling to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
