OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The company specializes in financial investments with a diversified portfolio including hotels, resorts, restaurants, office buildings, and undeveloped land reserves. Daily operations are outsourced to professional management companies. The ideal candidate will oversee and audit financial operations of these management companies, ensure compliance and profitability, support the General Manager in communication and coordination, and lead a small finance team to achieve the company’s financial objectives.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related fields;
  • Canadian CPA designation preferred;
  • 8+ years of financial management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role;
  • Prior experience in hospitality or property management finance is an asset;
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations;
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, with strong analytical and professional skills;
  • Excellent communication skills; fluency in both Mandarin and English required;
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team and collaborate across departments.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Review and monitor financial statements and budgets prepared by management companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance;
  • Conduct regular financial audits and performance analyses to provide decision-making support to senior management;
  • Assist the General Manager in maintaining effective communication with property management companies to maximize company profitability;
  • Develop and implement overall financial strategies, funding plans, and tax planning;
  • Supervise cash flow and funding operations, optimize capital structure;
  • Establish and improve internal control processes to mitigate financial risks;
  • Lead and develop a finance team of 1–2 members.
