For over 36 years, we have supported families facing homelessness, relationship breakdowns, and other challenges, helping them build safe and stable futures.
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Finance Manager to join our Senior Management Team. This pivotal role oversees the day-to-day financial operations of the charity, ensuring strong financial stewardship and compliance.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the CEO and the Board of Trustees, the Finance Manager leads on budgeting, financial performance reporting, contract management, and business administration, including reception services. They also support and manage the Board’s Finance & Audit Committee and serve as Company Secretary.
This is a strategic position that plays a critical role in advising the CEO and Board of Trustees on all financial matters, with the charity currently operating with an annual turnover exceeding £1 million. The post also has responsibility for contracting, facilities, and broader business administration functions.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIPFA) who is aligned with our values and motivated to make meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. Experience or understanding of charity finance is highly desirable.
