Finance Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the operational delivery and development of UoC student fees function within the University Finance team based on the Exton Park campus in Chester city centre. This role will contribute to the delivery of quality financial information and support to a wide range of internal and external customers.
Duties will include a wide range of financial activities, primarily being to manage the process of accurately raising, recording and collecting student fees for the University meeting strict timescales for Student Loans Company (SLC) and self-paying/sponsored students. Production of regular fee performance reports and month end and year end routines and reconciliations will also be an essential part of the role. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across the Registry, Finance, and wider University community, ensuring compliance, system effectiveness, and a high-quality student experience.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player, who is willing to learn and develop as part of a wider group of friendly and highly skilled professional services staff.
