We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. REQUIREMENTS

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel
  • Knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulatory compliance
  • Experience working across multiple businesses or legal entities
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of finance tasks
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop and implement effective cost control measures to enhance profitability.
  • Oversee budgeting processes and provide insights for financial planning.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations affecting the finance sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee financial operations across several limited companies
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and cash flow reports
  • Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks
  • Manage payroll, staff expenses, invoicing, and VAT returns
  • Month P&L for all companies and departments
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with financial forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC, Companies House, and other regulatory bodies
  • Liaise with external accountants and support annual audits and filings
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions
