Description
The Recipe To manage the year end external fieldwork process and preparation of group statutory accounts. The lead the credit control & submissions teams and be responsible for the management & reporting of cash. Produce the period end business update pack & detailed reporting of Centre costs. Key Accountabilities and Measures To manage the year end external audit fieldwork process and preparation of the group financial statements. Develop the SAP ERP system to meet the business changes. To partner all Centre budget holders in relation to the budget, forecasting and period reporting processes. To be responsible for the group cash position & borrowing requirements. Support balance sheet controls in providing key balance sheet reconciliations To produce timely and accurate consolidated management information and periodic business reporting pack that meets the requirements of the business. Lead on performance reporting to key stakeholders and development to align with business priorities To support the Senior Finance Manager & Financial Controller on ad hoc work requests and the execution of strategy, via project involvement. Be a member of the senior management team To lead, motivate, coach and develop the submissions, credit control teams & graduate to achieve the goals and targets set. Essential Ingredients Qualified accountant, experience in practice is desirable as is having previously worked within a FMCG environment. Qualifications: ACCA/ACA or equivalent accountancy qualification. Evidence of CPD. Systems: Experience of operating in a SAP environment; Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, BI Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manipulate and interpret data clearly and concisely, clearly communicating and ensuring understanding of both finance and non-finance colleagues. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills: influential; articulate, persuasive. Excellent relationship builder- Able to build relationships and influence across a broad range of non-finance and finance stakeholders.  Strong project management and organisation skills to manage a demanding and varied workload.
