As Finance Manager Western Europe, you are responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of financial reporting and projects across the four markets of the cluster: Netherland, Belgium, Luxembourg and France. You ensure the quality, reliability and compliance of financial information, while developing a forward-looking perspective for the cluster. You oversee a team of accounting officers and work closely with local teams, regional finance, the international shared service centre and the global Miele organisation. Location: Netherlands, Belgium or France Your key responsibilities: Team Leadership Lead and develop a team of five (3 accounting officers, 2 credit controllers). Strengthen capabilities, drive performance, and foster collaboration within the team, with the International Shared Service Center and across departments. Financial Reporting & Closing Lead the month‑end and year‑end closing financial processes Ensure timely, accurate and compliant reporting of financial data (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with Miele guidelines and local legislation. Tax, Legal, Credit Risk & Compliance Act as the focal point of contact for tax, legal and credit management related activities within the cluster. Ensure transfer pricing and intercompany compliance in line with Group policies. Act as Compliance Ambassador, safeguarding accounting integrity and financial governance. Process Optimisation & Harmonisation Contribute to project design, coordinate central and local stakeholders, and drive harmonization of financial processes across the cluster. Deliver pragmatic, value-driven solutions to operational needs. What You Bring Expertise & Education Proven knowledge of accounting, tax and legal matters in an international context Education in finance and accounting, preferably CFA, CPA, FA or equivalent Business & Analytical Skills Strong business acumen and a commercial mindset Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively International Experience Experience working in a multi‑national, multi‑location and multi‑lingual environment, preferably within the Benelux and France Comfortable operating within a matrix organisation with diverse stakeholders Communication & Leadership Excellent command of English (written and spoken); fluency in French is a strong asset 3+ years of leadership experience Professional, meticulous and collaborative communication style What to expect from us: With Miele you can truly develop yourself, pursue your own career path, stay with us for the long term and help us reach higher levels of customer delight.
