JOB OVERVIEW:

Emirates Talent Solution is seeking an experienced Finance Manager or Chief Accountant with 5-7 years of experience in the signage and outdoor media advertising industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a solid understanding of financial management principles, the ability to lead financial teams, and expertise in the media advertising sector.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 3 years in a managerial position within the signage and outdoor media advertising industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and reporting standards.
• Expertise in handling VAT, taxation, and financial compliance.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Financial Planning & Analysis:
• Oversee and manage the preparation of financial budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Analyze financial performance, prepare variance analysis, and provide recommendations for improvements to senior management.
• Provide strategic input for cost-saving initiatives and financial growth strategies.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance:
• Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax laws, including VAT and other relevant regulations.
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Cash Flow:
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring that the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its operational needs.
• Oversee the company’s investments and banking relationships, optimizing cash management strategies.
• Implement effective cash flow forecasting models.
• Cost Management & Budget Control:
• Monitor expenses and ensure effective cost control throughout the company.
• Review and approve expenditures and manage financial resources to ensure optimal utilization.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly documented and recorded.
• Team Leadership & Development:
• Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring that all team members are well-trained and performing efficiently.
• Provide guidance on best accounting practices, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
• Conduct performance evaluations for team members and implement professional development initiatives.
• Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, VAT submissions, and compliance with all relevant tax laws.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.
• Financial Systems & Process Improvement:
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software to streamline processes.
• Identify areas for improvement in financial operations and implement new procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within the accounting system.
