• MIS Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports to provide senior management with insights into financial performance.
• Develop dashboards and financial reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
• Coordinate with various departments to collect data and ensure the accuracy of reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations in all reporting.
• Present and explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to create accurate and realistic financial plans.
• Develop and maintain financial forecasts to ensure the business is on track to meet its goals.
• Conduct variance analysis, identifying and explaining discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial results.
• Monitor cash flow and propose adjustments to meet operational needs and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with senior management to adjust budgets based on changing business conditions or opportunities.
• Financial Analysis and Planning:
• Perform in-depth financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements in financial processes.
• Track and analyze key trends in revenue, expenses, and profits to ensure financial health.
• Assist in long-term financial planning and capital expenditure management.
• Internal Controls and Compliance:
• Ensure that financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with all regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Team Collaboration and Leadership:
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior finance team members.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in financial management, with significant exposure to MIS reporting and budgeting.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros), ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar), and financial modeling.
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar for reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail.
• Communication: Ability to communicate financial data effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, particularly in managing budgets and analyzing financial data.
• Certifications (optional): CPA, CFA, or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) would be a plus.
