In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operation of our real estate business, with a focus on industry-specific tasks.

Key Responsibilities:Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

• Ensure full compliance with Corporate Tax Laws as mandated by the Federal Tax Authority, RERA Laws, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Laws, and maintain necessary books of accounts as per tax laws of the UAE.
• Remain vigilant in reporting and maintaining high standards of integrity and transparency.
• Ensure that all Single Page Applications (SPAs) are filed and updated in compliance with the latest rules and standards, ensuring smooth accounting and administrative workflows.

Admin and Accounts KRA:

• Update and maintain real estate Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) and rental contracts in alignment with current regulations.
• Administer the post-dated cheque reconciliation process, maintaining rigorous financial discipline.
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of VAT, corporate tax laws, and regulatory compliance, maintaining books in strict adherence to these standards.
• Guarantee that all financial transactions and records comply with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and other relevant UAE regulations.
• Reconcile rental and miscellaneous receipts efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and banking.
• Ensure meticulous record-keeping for accounts payable and receivable, alongside monthly financial reconciliations.
• Play a pivotal role in budget preparation and collaboration with the team for financial planning.
• Develop, prepare, and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets, delivering key financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.
• Lead the quarterly VAT return filings, refunds, and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with Federal Tax Authority regulations.
• Support both external and internal audit preparations, ensuring accurate trial balances, ledger maintenance, and comprehensive journal entries with systematic filing.
• Direct and coordinate the daily activities of accounting operations, encompassing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, payroll processing as per the WPS systems of UAE, and ensuring timelines for smooth WPS systems for the Luxe Group and financial reporting.
• Conduct thorough processing of all office and ad-hoc maintenance payments following approval protocols.
• Oversee cash flow management, including petty cash operations, ensuring optimal liquidity for operational efficiency.
• Execute precise bank and financial account reconciliations, including credit card transactions.
• Manage and monitor receivables, including installment collections, and proactively identify delinquencies for timely follow-up or legal intervention.
• Generate and present comprehensive financial reports as required.
• Undertake additional duties and projects as directed by management to support the financial integrity and operational effectiveness of the organization.
• Ensure Compliance with KYC Laws and UAE labor laws, Federal laws.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s objectives to drive growth and profitability.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements within the organization.
• Collaborate with department heads and act as an advisor for all internal financial matters.
• Provide exceptional professional services to our clients and external vendors for all financial matters and regulations.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent qualifications / Chartered Accountant.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within the UAE real estate sector (Developer experience preferred).
• Strong command of accounting principles, financial regulations, and investment strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Tally, and other accounting software, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
