Townsville Catholic Education Office (TCEO) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Finance Officer-Accounts Payable to commence on Monday 7 July 2025. This role is a full time, permanent position.
The Finance Department within Townsville Catholic Education Office (TCEO) provides accounting and business services support to TCEO and catholic schools within the Diocese of Townsville.
Reporting to the Senior Accountant – TCEO, the Finance Officer - Accounts Payable is responsible, as part of a team, for ensuring timely and accurate processing and payment of vendor invoices.
The Finance Officer - Accounts Payable will be required to be well versed in good practice of accounts payable and procurement functions in a large and regionally dispersed organisation.
The role will demonstrate high level of accuracy and attention to detail as well as the ability to liaise with TCEO staff, school finance staff and vendors concerning financial records and accounts.
