REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven bookkeeping, accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team
  • A positive outlook
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience using cloud-based accounting systems
  • Advantageous to have used Reviso or Visma online accounting system
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    37.5 hrs per week: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5.30 pm. Fully on site.
    Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced accounts professional to join a well established company based in Clydebank.

Working closely with management, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations across this growing company. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Support payroll processing and staff timesheet management
  • Credit control
  • Prepare monthly reports and financial statements
  • Ensuring clear audit trail and liaising with accountants for year end statutory accounts for all entities
  • Project work and the implementation of new accounting software
