OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Finance officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage is essential.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and staff simultaneously.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is preferred but not mandatory.

• Oversee the input of invoices and update financial records using accounting software such as Sage.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding financial reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Respond to inquiries from management regarding financial data and reports.

• Assist General Management with HR
• Liaise with accountants to prep End of year accounts/ Vat returns ETC.
