MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Office Education. An equivalent combination of education, training,

and/or relevant work experience may be considered.

  • 1 - 2 year administrative or office experience
  • Certification with the Local Government Administration (LGA) or one year municipal government

administrative experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Accept and receipt; tax, utility and other revenue transactions;
  • Assist with general receptionist duties for City Hall;
  • Receipting of City operation’s transactions, reconciling cash and revenues received from other City

Departments;

  • Assist in processing monthly utility billing;
  • Assist in updating utility accounts including service disconnections, tenancy changes and payment

agreements;

  • Assist in monitoring data received from utility meter reads;
  • Assist in scheduling meter installs, inspections and repairs;
  • Assist with tax enforcement and taxation updates;
  • Assist with Accounts Payable/Recievable;
  • Assist with duties in the Finance Department; and
  • Other duties as assigned.
