The Finance Officer ensures the general running of the administration and finance tasks for the Euro DC organization.

The Finance Officer ensures the general running of the administration and finance tasks for the Euro DC organization.

Technical Competencies

  • Knowledge of an ERP system (Baan, Oracle) is a plus, complemented by Hyperion, Microsoft tools, Business Intelligence tools.

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of two to three-year experience in a similar role.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Fluent in French, good knowledge of English.
  • To maintain and monitor the general processing Financial transactions according to US Gaap using Oracle financial system;
  • To prepare VAT filling/Intrastat declarations;
  • To support the yearly preparation of the Belgian statutory accounts and Corporation tax return;
  • To support internal and external audits;
  • To take care and manage the payroll entries.
  • To manage various administrative tasks as invoices booking, payments preparation and employee’s expenses follow up;
  • To perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations statements;
  • To support the monthly financial reporting to regional management by managing monthly journal entries preparation & posting monthly closing reports;
  • To assist and prepare various monthly, quarterly and yearly analysis of various accounts for UK/US documentation;
  • To perform Fixed assets yearly verification, capital expenditures follow-up and admin;
  • To operate in compliance with Company’s Internal Controls;
  • To prepare/support monthly cash flow.
