QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant experience with administering client budgets, tracking spending, and preparing accurate client statements (or willingness to learn in the aged care/community care sector).
  • Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency in relevant software systems for efficient financial management.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Finance Officer you’ll manage end-to-end finance and administration functions, including payroll processing, bank reconciliations, invoicing, debtor management, and budget tracking. You’ll also provide exceptional customer service, maintain accurate records, and represent the Dovida brand with professionalism and care in every interaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Management – Process payroll data, reconcile bank accounts and petty cash, manage accounts receivable/payable, and oversee debtor payments including Ezidebit transactions.
  • Invoicing & Reporting – Prepare monthly client invoices, manage ageing debtors, and produce accurate financial and operational reports for management.
  • Budget Administration – Administer Home Care Package client budgets, monitor spending, and prepare monthly client statements.
  • Administrative Support – Maintain accurate records, assist with purchase order processes, and ensure efficient office operations.
  • Customer Service & Brand Representation – Handle incoming calls professionally and promote the Dovida brand through trust, initiative, and genuine engagement.
