About Your Role You will provide support to maintain accurate, complete, reliable accounting information complying with existing QR Group accounting policies and International Financial Reporting Standards to meet the timely reporting needs of the Group. Key responsibilities: Prepare and monitor month‑end and year‑end accounting closing timelines by interacting with management, other departments, external and internal auditors, and key stakeholders. Perform monthly review of balance sheet and summarise review points for management with action plans for resolution. Guide other accounting staff by answering questions to ensure proper accounting of transactions. Prepare and update company finance policy manuals and internal accounting procedures, and suggest improvements. Ensure compliance with international accounting standards related to accounting and reporting. Prepare financial data for local authorities to meet compliance requirements. Perform fixed assets‑related tasks as assigned. Maintain the company chart of accounts. Prepare reconciliations and schedules monthly for internal review and annually for audit purposes. Liaise with external auditors during the annual closing of financial statements. Perform other departmental duties related to the position as directed by the Head of the Department. Together, everything is possible About you High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum of 3 years experience of job-related experience. Knowledge of accounting principles and standards. Proven analytical skills. Knowledge of Oracle Financials and computer skills including MS Excel and MS Word. Ability to prepare financial statements independently. Preferred Final level of CPA / CA / ACCA. MBA from a recognised university. Airline background with similar experience. Knowledge of IAS / IFRS.
