Main responsibilities include:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and working papers to support corporate and statutory reporting requirements
  • Coordinate the period-end close process and contribute to annual report submissions
  • Support corporate performance measurement and provide financial insights to senior management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP) and advise on relevant changes
  • Assist in designing efficient financial processes and ensuring appropriate internal controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support to Finance leadership as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and perform other related duties as assigned

The main qualifications for this role include:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as Business or Finance
  • Professional Accounting designation (CPA) required
  • 4+ years of progressive financial reporting experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
