Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

The Finance Officer at eKomi is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations within the organization, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounts processing, ledger management, and reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Financial Transactions: Process and prepare financial and business forms to check account balances, facilitate purchases, etc.
  • Document Management: Maintain accurate and secure financial records in compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and deliver financial reports.
  • Budgeting Support: Assist in budget preparation and manage expenses for assigned accounts.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports reflecting the organization’s financial status.
  • Audit Support: Assist with both internal and external auditing procedures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial laws and regulations, staying updated on recent changes.
  • Cash Handling: Oversee the organization’s cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with clients, vendors, and banks, and handle related correspondence.
