To support this commitment, we are seeking a Finance and BI Associate to join our growing team. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong interest in finance and data analysis, who lives within a commutable distance of our office at Ashton Court Estate, Bristol, and is looking to work three days a week to maintain a balanced work-life arrangement.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A fully qualified AAT, or part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA), or a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of financial operations (e.g., accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, month-ends, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of financial systems/software.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial and data insights clearly.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working towards full ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification.
  • Experience and working knowledge of QuickBooks.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) or willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

This role involves working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, transactional processing, month-ends, and performance data management. You will contribute to streamlining financial and operational data, helping produce actionable performance reports, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial operations. If you have a keen interest in finance, data analysis, and a passion for driving cross functional business improvements, this is an ideal role for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities of the Finance Officer include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Processing of accounts payables and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support the finance team during month-end and year-end close activities by preparing/posting Journals and assisting with reports.
  • Regularly update and maintain financial records in line with internal policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external suppliers and customers to resolve financial queries and ensure smooth transactional processes.
