Description:

FINANCE OFFICER (6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT)

  • Fixed Term contract with high likelihood of extension/permanent conversion
  • Full Time hours, 2 days work from home
  • $90,000 including super
    Company Overview: Our client is leading law firm based in Australia, dedicated to becoming the number one firm within their practice. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented Finance Officer to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension or permanency.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping and manual processing
  • Comfortable working with Xero accounting software or willingness to learn

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Conduct manual processing of AP and AR transactions when necessary
  • Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions using double-entry bookkeeping principles
  • Provide support during the implementation phase of Xero
  • Communicate effectively regarding credits, debits, and other financial matters
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations
