Finance Officer

Location: North London

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £15ph

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Officer to join our client's finance team on an immediate temporary basis for an initial four-week assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong transactional finance experience who can quickly integrate into a busy team and confidently manage day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing and inputting invoices and purchase orders accurately
• Preparing supplier payment runs
• Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Managing purchase ledger activities
• Supporting credit control processes
• Handling cash and banking transactions
• Posting, maintaining and electronically filing invoices
• Accurately processing financial transactions
• Assisting with general financial administration and accounting duties as required

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working in a Finance Officer, Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, or similar finance role
• Strong knowledge of purchase ledger, reconciliations, and general accounting processes
• Experience processing high volumes of financial transactions with excellent attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of accounting systems
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• The ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
