Yagi Wrld is a fast-growing online clothing brand that blends fashion with function, delivering trend-forward styles to customers around the world. As we expand, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our team and ensure the financial health of our operations.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As our Finance Officer, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and producing reports that guide our strategic decision-making. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate record-keeping of in-goings and outgoings, organised financial systems, and reliable reporting.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in a finance, bookkeeping, or accounting role (ideally within eCommerce or a form of goods sales)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel and accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Familiarity with payment platforms like Shopify, ClearPay, Klarna
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Strong working knowledge of UK payroll, VAT, and HMRC compliance
Responsibilities
  • Reconcile weekly sales and transactions from Shopify, ClearPay, and Klarna
  • Track all business expenses, including suppliers, ad spend, and operational costs
  • Monitor and report on refunds, chargebacks, and reasons for returns
  • Maintain accurate weekly cash flow and profit/loss records
  • Prepare concise financial reports for management decision-making
  • Process monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with HMRC (including PAYE, NI, RTI submissions)
  • Maintain VAT records and assist with preparation of returns
  • Liaise with external accountants to support end-of-year accounts and statutory filings
  • Oversee monthly budget tracking and variance analysis.
