Job Description The Finance Operations Analyst will be a key member of the team, supporting the finance operations. She/He will be responsible for daily application of received incoming and credit card payments, downloading and booking of bank statements and preparing monthly Bank reconciliations. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Daily Application of credit card and incoming payments to invoices upon receipt of funds Analyse unapplied cash transactions to ensure all receipts are applied and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner. Analyse unmatched transactions and partial payments Review and analyse suspense accounts and Manage Unidentified payments Post non-P2P payments and non-OTC receipts Execute customer refund requests in Stripe, check the backup provided to ensure customer payment is refunded Receive remittances from customers and apply payments. Ensure they are stored as per the internal rules Record transfer funds based on instructions from Group Treasury (FX deals, Inter Account Transfers etc) Download bank statements daily and ensure all transactions are recorded timely in the ledger Upload bank statements manually or by Direct feed using the Bank Suite App Reconcile monthly the GL and bank statement transactions and resolve exceptions. Reconcile credit card control accounts monthly, incl. Stripe accounts Manage the dedicated e-mail box with incoming requests to ensure all tasks are completed within a timely manner. Support and Act as a backup for the manual billing process within NetSuite Support and Act as a backup for Amendment of Sales Orders in relation to specific tax requirements Support all queries in relation to Tax questions on billed invoices Liaise daily with various businesses/departments regarding payment queries. Communicate effectively, concisely, and accurately in email correspondences and act in a professional manner, setting a good example for the finance department. Maintain a strong control framework in line with agreed controls and processes.
