Role Overview Join their team as a Finance & Operations Analyst, where you will play a key role in supporting dynamic operations across India and international markets, including Australia. This role offers a diverse scope of responsibilities, including accounting, regulatory compliance, process improvement, and operational support. They are seeking a proactive individual who can take ownership, think analytically, and contribute to optimizing financial and administrative processes to drive efficiency and operational excellence across all locations. You will work closely with the CFO and Head of Operations, gaining exposure to both Indian and Australian finance functions, with a strong focus on automation and AI-driven improvements. Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Manage day-to-day bookkeeping (India & Australia) Handle AR/AP, invoicing, and collections Perform bank reconciliations Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) Maintain accounting records and databases 2. Taxation & Compliance (India & Australia) Manage GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS, PF, Form 16 Support Australian tax compliance (training provided) Ensure timely statutory filings Coordinate with auditors/consultants 3. Finance Support Work closely with the CFO/Head of Operations on financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements Support reporting, audits, and financial analysis Improve reporting accuracy and workflows 4. Admin & Operations (Global Team) Provide global team support (remote) Handle scheduling, travel coordination Assist in team engagement initiatives Manage ad-hoc operational tasks 5. Process Improvement & AI Identify automation opportunities Support implementation of tools/AI solutions Improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability Show curiosity and interest in exploring automation tools and AI solutions (prior experience not required) Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping. Degree in B.Com, CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) with skills in accounting, taxation, and financial operations. Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws preferred. Eagerness to learn international finance, especially Australian standards. Detail-oriented with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets. Proactive, responsible, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills for smooth teamwork.
