About Resolution Life
Resolution Life Australasia is one of the leading life insurers in Australia and New Zealand, with ~ 1 million customers with superannuation, investments and life insurance policies, managing approximately A$30 billion in assets and have 1,000 employees across Australia and New Zealand.

The Opportunity - 12-month fixed term contract
The Finance Systems, Operations and Reinsurance Chapter plays a critical role in managing Resolution Life’s financial integrity through efficient cash payments, receipting, reconciliations, and bank account oversight. This team also supports broader business functions by administering expense management processes and ensuring seamless financial operations. Within this dynamic environment, the Accounts Receivable (AR) function is essential to maintaining accurate and timely processing of incoming cash transactions, managing exceptions, and resolving queries across various platforms including ORMB and banking portals.
This role is central to the day-to-day execution of AR activities, including billing, receipting, month-end close processes, and reconciliation tasks. It requires a proactive approach to managing unmatched money queues, handling escalations, supporting audits, and maintaining compliance with internal controls. The successful candidate will also contribute to quarterly banking reviews, credit card management, and premium receipting, while continuously identifying opportunities for process and system improvements.
Collaboration is key, with daily engagement alongside offshore teams to ensure business-as-usual operations are delivered efficiently. The role demands strong communication and stakeholder management skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. Experience in life insurance or financial services, along with familiarity with Oracle Fusion ERP, will be highly regarded.
