JOB OVERVIEW

This role is responsible for assisting the finance team on all invoicing, payment allocation and reconciliation tasks. This role carries interaction with a range of third parties and maintaining good working relationships is critical to this. This is a busy role which sits within a small but very busy department and therefore we are looking for a person who is a self-starter and is happy and confident to roll their sleeves up.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience of the invoicing process, preferably within a financial services or legal organisation.
  • Experience of working with a large volume of different clients and suppliers, preferably in an intermediary environment.
  • The ideal candidate will be a natural relationship builder with a meticulous attention to detail, someone who thrives in a busy environment.

Previous experience or knowledge of the following systems/platforms would be useful but not essential:

  • Xero
  • Salesforce
  • Ariba
  • Tradex
  • Coupa

Be proficient or have moderate experience with

  • Excel – including tasks such as formulas and v-look up.
  • Microsoft Outlook

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Nottingham, NG1 5F

Responsibilities
  • Allocation and reconciliation of all payments on the system and in the bank.
  • Regular reviewing of all payment reports including tracking and logging refunds.
  • Raising of sales invoices and remittance of client monies, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
  • Resolution of any queries to ensure accurate and timely receipt of purchase orders from our panel members and preparation of remittance within contractual terms.
  • Management of changes to any commission rates or fee scales, including communication to our panel members.
  • Occasional Telephone Calls with External Suppliers, Clients or Enforcement Agents.
  • Supporting Finance Operations Manager with ad-hoc projects
