Finance & Operations Manager
Hours: 8.30am – 4.00pm (35 hours per week, including a 30-minute lunch)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: Multi-site role (travel between two sites required)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
The Opportunity
Adele Carr Recruitment is delighted to be representing a valued client in their search for a Finance & Operations Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in overseeing finance, compliance, and day-to-day operations, ensuring the organisation runs smoothly and efficiently.
The successful candidate will report to senior leadership, contribute to long-term strategy, and drive continuous improvement across finance and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Provide strategic financial advice to leadership, ensuring informed decision-making
  • Oversee procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiations
  • Monitor financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practice standards
  • Line manage and support operational and administrative staff
  • Oversee facilities, maintenance, and health & safety compliance
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency
  • Lead on risk management, compliance monitoring, and audit preparation
  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning and resource allocation

About You:

We are looking for someone who can bring:

  • Strong experience in financial management, including budgeting and reporting
  • Proven ability to lead operations and manage multi-functional teams
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency
  • Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in procurement and supplier negotiations
  • A proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Flexibility to travel between two sites when required
  • An active DBS check (or willingness to undertake one prior to starting)
