Salary: Up to $90,000 annually

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Finance Operations Manager will oversee core financial functions including reporting, compliance, and budgeting. This role requires recent experience in nonprofit financial management and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the sustainability and growth of our programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or nonprofit finance certification preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial operations, with recent nonprofit experience required
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting and grant compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel
  • Payroll experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the organization

Responsibilities
  • Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, grant reports, and budgets

  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit preparation
