Role and Responsibilities
The Finance Operations Manager oversees end-to-end finance operations across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Treasury, Audit, Tax, and Compliance. This role leads a team of accountants, ensuring efficient processes, accurate reporting, and full compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AR, AP, and Treasury accountants.
  • Drive efficiency, accuracy, and accountability within the finance operations team.
  • Foster continuous improvement, automation, and professional development.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions in line with policies and controls.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reconciliations.
  • Supervise treasury operations, including bank relationships, cash flow, liquidity, and reconciliations.
  • Support investment, funding, and escrow account activities where applicable.
  • Oversee external and internal audit requirements, ensuring timely completion with no major findings.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, VAT, and other statutory reporting obligations.
  • Maintain financial policies, controls, and risk management practices in alignment with governance standards.
  • Support the Executive Director - Finance in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Deliver clear reporting and insights to support decision-making.
  • Monitor KPIs, variances, and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Act as a key liaison between finance, operations, and senior management.
  • Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
    Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent

  • Chartered Accountant (mandatory).
  • 8-12 years of finance experience with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role, mandatory UAE experience
  • Big 4 experience is a must
  • Strong background in real estate finance operations in the UAE.
  • Proven expertise across AP, AR, GL, Treasury, Audit, Tax, and Compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills.
  • Strong ERP and financial systems knowledge.
