We are looking for a Finance Operations Manager to continue our growth journey and help build a foundation for scalable growth. This role is for an individual experienced with managing a team involved in daily finance operations across multiple entities within dynamic, international fast-paced environments. Then this might be something for you! 🚲 🚀 This opportunity is open for 40 hours a week with at least 2 days a week at our HQ in Amsterdam (other days are flexible!). Do you recognize yourself in this? Our Finance Operations Manager is an essential part of the group finance team and reports directly to the Group Finance Manager. You will play a key role in migrating our entire financial architecture to SAP S/4HANA. You will manage and coach a dedicated team of 6 finance professionals to ensure that our daily operations remain flawless during the transition to SAP. Your contribution will be crucial to bring the finance function to another level and ensure the company is ready for scalable growth. How you pedal us forward: * Process Excellence: Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury functions, ensuring all transactions are processed with 100% accuracy. * Month-End Mastery: Lead the month-end and year-end closing process, leveraging systems and automation to reduce cycle times. * Migration Leadership: Serve as the Finance Workstream Lead for the SAP S/4HANA implementation. You will oversee data cleansing, User Acceptance Testing, training and the transition from legacy systems to the new ERP. * Team Coaching & Upskilling: Manage and mentor a team of 6. You will be responsible for their technical upskilling, ensuring every team member is "S/4HANA ready" by go-live. * Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the Finance department, IT, and external implementation consultants. * Post-Go-Live Stability: Ensure a smooth transition during the hyper-care period, resolving bottlenecks and stabilizing financial reporting. The gear you need: * Ideally 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance operations. * Experience managing teams of 5 or more. You must have a proven track record of coaching teams through organizational change. * SAP S/4HANA Expertise: Direct experience in at least one full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration. * A demonstrated ability to exercise professional skepticism. * Excellent communication skills in English (other languages like Dutch, German or Danish are a big plus). * Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team. * A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
