Swinburne Student Association (SSA) is looking for a Manager, Finance and Operations to take end-to-end ownership of our financial, commercial and operational functions.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and sitting on the SSA Leadership Team, you will run the full finance cycle: from day-to-day processing and reconciliations through budgeting, forecasting and Board reporting, to the annual financial statements and external audit. You will also own the numbers behind FLEX by SSA (our student gym) and our corporate partnerships and sponsorship portfolio.

You will lead and develop a team of three: a Finance Officer, a Finance and Administration Officer, and a Corporate Partnerships Specialist.

This is a hands-on leadership role.

• You will be close enough to the detail to know the numbers are right, and senior enough that your recommendations reach the CEO and the Board.
