Luminovo is revolutionizing the electronics supply chain with AI-powered solutions that enhance efficiency and collaboration.
Our Luminerds need money (and a work place), our customers are paying us money, and at the end of the month, there should always be some of it left — all of this will be your area of responsibility as our Working Student in Finance.

Key highlights

• You’re responsible for the flow of many EUR millions per year — both in and out of our bank accounts.
• You’re part of a Finance & Operations team that is constantly trying to cut redundant steps through automations, AI, and other clever tools. We grow our revenue by ~100% per year, but try to keep our team as constant as possible. Tool- and automation-wise, we want to be so far ahead of the curve that, after your time with us, you’ll be able to apply and build on your experiences anywhere else.

Time frame

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: minimum 12 months
• Working hours: 15-20h per week
• You can also start with a full-time internship and transition into a part-time working student position later.

Whom you’ll be working with

• Benedikt, our Head of Operations
• Sarah, our Finance Specialist
• Naima, our internal Legal Counsel and Benedikt’s Associate
• Maggie, our Legal & Operations Specialist
• And other Luminerds working in Operations and Revenue

• At the beginning of the month, you provide fully prepared books and receipts of the previous month to our tax accountant. Once she’s done with her work, this allows us to easily and accurately analyze our monthly spent. You will be thereby be the crucial valve controlling our outgoing and incoming cash flows, ensuring our service provides, partners, and customers stay happy with our Finance team.
• You ensure that all our revenue flows into our bank account by maintaining a flawless invoicing system that always sends out correct invoices. In special cases, you send out manual invoices on the day the revenue is due. It’s always an uphill battle, but you educate (in various ways) all customers to always pay on time — and if they persistently don’t pay, you collect our overdue revenue in other ways, so that we never have to write off an invoice.
• You automate your work to the largest degree possible. Your predecessors in this job always ended their (working student) careers at Luminovo after multiplying our “cash under management”. Similarly, we want you, your tools, and your processes to grow with the money.
