Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

As a Finance Partner you’ll play a key role in driving planning, efficiency, and performance across our Operations departments. You’ll take ownership of core financial reporting such as consolidating monthly COO and CFO Financial Packs, deliver deep analysis on cost drivers and operational metrics, and provide actionable insights that influence business outcomes. You will partner closely with key Operational Teams including Network, Workforce Planning, Training and Standards to deliver insights, identify risks and opportunities, support key initiatives and help shape plans that enhance efficiency, accountability and long term value.
Our dynamic FP&A team has recently adopted new budgeting and planning tools, and you’ll play a key role in shaping how we leverage them to drive value. You’ll be instrumental in building and enhancing reporting packs that support operational decision-making. The Operations portfolio spans a broad range of direct labour groups and cost categories, giving you exposure to complex, high-impact areas of the business. This role offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of operational finance, contribute meaningfully across functions, and grow within a collaborative, performance-driven environment.

YOU’LL BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE IF YOU:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce/ Economics. CA/ CPA preferred.
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Financial/Management reporting experience
  • Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders with experience in a business support function
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to prepare and deliver quality reports in Powerpoint
  • A strong problem solver with attention to detail
  • Demonstrable systems abilities and a high level of computer literacy, including Advanced Excel spread sheet and financial modelling
  • Prior experience with FP&A and ERP systems preferred (OneStream, TM1, Oracle)
