Description
See something that should exist? Build it. See a better way? Do it. At Terrific, every role directly impacts how we grow from product to revenue to customer experience. We’re building the next generation of social commerce through live shopping powered by real-time data and AI. And we believe customer data should belong to the brands who earn it — not third-party platforms. Finance & Payments Operations Manager Location: Ramat Gan, Israe About the role We're hiring a Finance & Payments Operations Manager to own the day-to-day of our finance and payments operations and the systems that hold them together. This is a high-autonomy, high-trust role for someone who works independently, takes real ownership of outcomes, reads systems instinctively, brings a legal sensibility to financial decisions, and can hold their own with leadership, including the CEO. International candidates and those new to Israel are welcome; your experience doesn't need to be local. What you'll do Own day-to-day finance and payments operations: flows, reconciliation, controls, and process design Apply a legal and compliance lens to payment terms, contracts, and operational risk Build and improve the workflows and systems that keep the business running cleanly as it scales Partner closely with the CEO and leadership by surfacing issues early, proposing solutions, and pushing back with a clear, evidence-based point of view when it's warranted What we're looking for 3–5 years across finance/payments and operations Independence and ownership — you value autonomy, set your own pace, and take a problem and run with it rather than waiting for direction Solutions-oriented and comfortable with AI tools — you bring answers, not just problems, and you reach for AI to work faster and sharper A legal sensibility, however you got it — comfortable reading contracts and reasoning about compliance and regulatory risk. That might come from a law degree (practicing optional), paralegal or compliance work, a legal role during military service, or legal experience gained outside Israel Strong systems thinking — you see how the pieces connect and spot what's about to break Sharp judgment and the confidence to challenge decisions constructively, up to and including the CEO Fluency in English required; Hebrew a plus, not required. Spanish or Portuguese also a plus Reliability and discretion in a role that touches sensitive financial and legal matters Why this role If you truly want the opportunity, this one has no ceiling. You'll work across finance, payments, legal, and operations with direct access to leadership and the room to build — so your impact and your learning are limited only by how much you reach for. \n \n Required: Deep experience in at least one of Terrific’s three commercial pillars — eCommerce, Marketing, or Media — and enough fluency across the other two to contribute credibly from day 1. Terrific operates as a global company, and English is our primary business language. As such, all roles require fluency in written and spoken English. Be part of the change that’s quietly reshaping how people discover and buy online. Passionate about social media and e-commerce? Come build what’s next at Terrific. Please note: We review every application carefully. While we may not be able to respond to everyone, we will reach out to candidates whose experience aligns with what we’re building.
