As the People Planning & Performance Manager, you will lead the financial cycle for people package expenses in the BNFL Business Unit (Belgium, Netherlands, France, and Luxembourg), including budgeting, closing, and forecasting. You will analyze results, identify gaps and opportunities, and challenge the business with benchmarking while ensuring high forecast accuracy.

What will you be doing:
- Financial Planning & Performance Management (PPM): Lead people package budget planning, cascading, and calendarization. Ensure accurate monitoring of people’s financial performance and analyze variances against budget and forecast. Manage monthly closing activities (accruals, journals, reclassification) and update forecasts in Anaplan.
- Stakeholder Reporting & Engagement: Prepare and present performance reviews to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., HR, FP&A, Control, and Functional Directors) to drive collaboration and performance.
- Cost Optimization & Benchmarking: Challenge ZBB (Zero-Based Budgeting) people costs, lead initiatives to optimize costs and close gaps towards budget and forecast. Conduct benchmarking and work with entity owners to implement cost-efficiency improvements.
- Compliance & Financial Integrity: Ensure adherence to accounting principles, AB InBev standards, policies, and procedures to maintain financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Process & System Enhancement: Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance operational efficiency and ensure long-term success.
What you’ll bring:
- Financial Expertise: Minimum of 2-3 years in Finance, Performance Planning, or Audit roles, with a deep understanding of financial concepts, transactions, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles. A solid Finance background or relevant experience is essential.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive change, foster collaboration, and engage senior stakeholders across the organization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce impactful reports and presentations. Experience with SAP and Power BI is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: A keen analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate complexity to provide actionable insights. Strong sense of urgency and effective prioritization.
- Leadership: Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and guide teams toward achieving goals and driving performance. A structured and systematic approach to delivering business solutions.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate with colleagues across diverse geographical locations and cultural backgrounds.
- Language: Fluent in English, with strong speaking, reading, and writing skills.
