INTRODUCTION TO GGGI

GGGI has a diverse portfolio of programs in developing countries around the world. These in-country programs, together with global products and services, focus on delivering results through an integrated approach of evidence-based green growth planning and implementation aligned to countries’ development priorities.

POSITION SUMMARY

Based in Lima, Peru, the Finance, Procurement, and Administration Assistant will support GGGI Andean Country Programs principally on administrative and human resources activities to respond to requirements, rules, and systems established by GGGI, UKPACT, and other donors. S/he will also support the Operations Enabling Division (OED) Andean team in conducting finance and procurement tasks in compliance with policies, rules, guidelines, decisions, and processes. S/he will report to the Finance, Procurement, and Administration Associate.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a citizen of Peru or have a valid work permit in Peru.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, human resources, international relations, or other related fields of study
  • Preferred at least 2 years of relevant experience in office management or administration roles.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel or similar.
  • Good proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Advanced English proficiency is required.
  • Ability to prepare business correspondence, both in Spanish and English.
  • Experience/knowledge of green growth, climate change, and sustainable development is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Human Resources related tasks to hire individual consultants and staff and promote well-being.
  • Carry out essential administrative operations that require a basic understanding of GGGI’s rules, procedures, systems, and tools, complying with established GGGI policies, standards, and donor requirements.
  • Support the OED Andean team with event organization, finance, and procurement tasks for the Andean countries.
