An excellent opportunity for a Finance Project Analyst to join a global organisation on an initial 3-month fixed term contract. You’ll support payroll processes, financial reporting, and profitability analysis while assisting with the implementation of a new finance system (Sage Intacct). Responsibilities include month-end entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting compliance activities such as SOX testing and tax reporting. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint, with ERP experience highly desirable. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting monthly payroll preparation in coordination with HR, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Assisting with the time-recording system, working with Operations to ensure accurate booking, address queries, and highlight variances to budget.
  • Contributing to the implementation of a new finance system, including user acceptance testing.
  • Supporting month-end processes and reporting, including developing new procedures as systems evolve.
  • Assisting in preparing monthly internal and external financial reports.
  • Providing support to project teams on profitability analysis, forecasting, and planning.
  • Performing variance analysis, reconciliations, asset management, and collections activities.
  • Supporting compliance requirements, including SOX testing, regulatory reporting, and tax submissions.
  • Contributing to the implementation of financial standards across the organisation.
