As the Finance Team, we manage the financial performance of the business unit in Germany and lay the foundation for strategic decisions. To strengthen our Strategic Planning & Control team, we are looking for an experienced Finance Specialist (m/f/d) who will actively shape the financial management of GC&C Germany and act as a competent sparring partner for management and specialist departments.

• You will actively participate in shaping the financial management of GC&C Germany and support the creation of forecasts, plans and multi-year projections.
• You analyze business developments, prepare management reports, and derive well-founded recommendations for action for various stakeholders.
• You support portfolio management through in-depth analyses and contribute to the management of profitability, portfolio development and performance.
• You advise management and specialist departments on financial and strategic issues and contribute your analytical expertise to important decisions.
• You will take responsibility for defined areas of cost, budget and FTE controlling, continuously develop management tools and work closely with national and international stakeholders in strategic and operational projects.

• You have successfully completed a degree in economics or a comparable qualification and have several years of experience in controlling, ideally in the insurance sector.
• You possess strong analytical skills and sound knowledge of financial and accounting topics, particularly German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS 17.
• You have experience in creating and tailoring management reports to different stakeholders.
• You work in a structured, independent, and highly proactive manner, and you maintain an overview even when dealing with complex issues.
• You impress with your strong communication skills and enjoy working in an international environment.
