Bring your expertise and experience in medium to large scale financial information system support with multiple locations. Provide advice, assistance, training and support to users in Wellington and overseas posts Wellington based – Permanent full time   Champion FMIS operations, resolve issues with vendors, and accelerate system testing and enhancements across core environments.   About the role - Kōrero mō te tūranga   The Finance System Specialist role delivers finance system administration, error identification and solution including integrations, training, testing, interface and environment management for the Ministry’s Finance Management System (FMIS) Oracle.   The Finance System Specialist will also deliver first and second level Oracle Fusion Financial Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Performance Management (EMP) solutions. For complex solutions, errors and exceptions the Ministry has third party vendor support.   Undertake general application maintenance for FMIS and other business systems applications Resolve support requests for FIN Business Information system applications FMIS and FIN system application training Maintain user documentation   For more detail you can view a copy of the position description here.   The salary range for this role is minimum $89,601 to maximum $121,225 total remuneration, inclusive of our KiwiSaver employer contribution. We expect to appoint depending on your level of experience.     Who are we looking for? - Mā‎ wai te mahi nei?   We’d like to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:   A sound understanding and demonstrated experience with maintaining and supporting financial systems in a large organisation (preferably Oracle). At least one of: financial control systems (e.g. Oracle ERP), planning & performance systems (e.g. Oracle EPM), and/or BI tools. Experience in managing Oracle OIC interfaces (Banking, Payroll etc) Experience with Financial, Expense Management, Budgeting and Reporting, Contract/Projects Applications and banking systems will be an advantage Expertise in financial analysis and the interpretation of financial and non-financial information Experience working with financial/document management/SQL or Microsoft Software desirable An IT post graduate qualification is preferred Expertise in SQL.
