Finance Systems Analyst If you’re an accountant who’s gravitated toward systems—or you’ve been the go-to person for Workday Finance support and process improvements this role will suit you. You’ll sit between Finance and Corporate Technology, helping our teams get more value from our finance platforms, keeping day-to-day support running smoothly, and driving practical enhancements. Varied, hands-on work across support, process improvement, testing and ad hoc analysis where you’ll see the impact quickly. Hybrid working: Sydney CBD office (3 days in office / 2 from home). About the Role In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our finance systems, help the business get the best out of them, and drive practical improvements as we evolve our operating model. You’ll become the go-to person for finance system support and continuous improvement building strong relationships across Finance, Corporate Technology and our delivery partners, and helping turn business needs into clear priorities. What you’ll be doing Be the link between Finance, Corporate Technology and our delivery partners—triage requests and issues, raise tickets, prioritise with stakeholders, and follow through to resolution (sprints/SLAs). Support Workday Finance day-to-day: help users (configure business processes and manage access requests. Help shape and deliver enhancements: clarify requirements, support testing, and help land changes with the business. Support data and platform change testing (including data platform/Snowflake-related work), so finance impacts are understood and validated. Handle ad hoc reporting and analysis requests using Workday reporting, Excel and basic data querying. Look for practical ways to improve and automate—bringing Finance and IT on the journey as we continue broader transformation (including AI-enabled opportunities). What we’re looking for You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy sitting at the intersection of Finance and Technology - steady on support, curious about how systems work, and motivated to make things better. You might come from a finance systems/support role, or from accounting with a move into systems—and you’ll be practical, approachable and confident building rapport with stakeholders while juggling ad hoc requests and shifting priorities. As well as experience in; Workday Finance experience (or a similar finance ERP). Hands-on exposure to change delivery (e.g., GL implementation, Workday rollout/upgrade, integration, process redesign), including testing and adoption support. Comfortable with data: Excel, reporting, and basic SQL/data concepts (not a developer role). Exposure to Workiva/Anaplan, data platforms/integrations, and/or Power BI (or similar). Interested?
