Key Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for rolling out and implementing SunSystems globally, providing more advanced technical support, contributing to problem-solving, and offering coaching to junior teammates and colleagues. This position will identify functional requirements, application configuration, and system improvements. This position involves managing support operations and driving continuous improvement.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years Technical and Advanced SunSystems and PMQA skills or equivalent finance system.
  • 2 years of strong technical/IT training experience.
  • Has proven expertise in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Access.
  • Has substantial experience or education in basic SQL, Script, and Macros.
  • Has proven experience in an end-to-end or full system roll-out or data migration.
  • Has proven experience in an end-to-end or full systems roll-out and data migration.
  • Can understand multiple data sources/systems and how they relate to each other.
  • Demonstrated ability to think independently and critically, self-learn and self-manage, and perform problem analysis and problem-solving.
  • Has the confidence and competence to identify problems and recommend solutions and best practices.
  • Has strong analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Has substantial and successful experience working in a multi-cultural, geographically dispersed work environment and can work with several functional managers or stakeholders.
  • Excellent Customer Service Orientation.

Responsibilities

Technical Support and Designs

  • Provide expert-level support for complex SunSystems issues.
  • Troubleshoot reported issues/errors and provide appropriate workaround.
  • Thoroughly guide users on the proper handling and implementation of provided solutions and workarounds.
  • Collaborate with SunSystems and other systems and business owners on assigned projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders and vendors to solve problems, and to deploy or implement SunSystems and its modules in all offices within target period.
  • Initiate discussions, set targets, and encourage prompt deployment.

System Maintenance and Monitoring

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance support efficiency and effectiveness.

Leadership and Coaching

  • Mentor SunSystems Support Associates and Analysts as needed.
  • Coordinate daily support activities and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Develop, improve, and socialize standard financial reporting templates. This includes sorting of requirement/s, data gathering and analysis, close coordination with stakeholders, and testing, implementation, and deployment.
  • Empower Finance users in designing and preparing financial reports.

User Training and Documentation

  • Conduct training sessions for new users and provide ongoing support to existing users.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other documentation to assist users in effectively utilizing the system.
  • Assist the team in training and capacity-building initiatives to support users and stakeholders.

Other

  • Assess the needs of finance users and the department.
  • Evaluate new alternatives and make recommendations to streamline processes.
  • Assist leaders in various assignments, tasks, and projects that support the finance team.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, conferences, workshops, etc.
  • Attend and participate in chapel services and group devotions.
  • Promote World Vision’s values through example and hold others accountable for the same.
