Dublin based TRCM holds UCITS and AIFMD licences from the Central Bank of Ireland and manages two ICAV and two Luxembourg SICAV umbrella funds containing a range of liquid and illiquid funds. As the business acquires greater scale via a large transformation initiative, we are seeking to hire a Financial Accountant to manage all financial management and reporting aspects of the management company and funds business. YOUR CHALLENGE Assess ongoing charges and total expense ratios of all funds under management. Manage the Manco and fund audits to include financial statement production, fund valuation policies, fees and expenses, and capital levels. Responsibility for producing TRCM’s monthly management accounts including compliance with regulatory capital requirements. Preparation of financial budgets for the Manco and its funds and precisely monitoring budgets vs actual. Ensuring the Manco and its funds comply with all Irish, Luxembourg, overseas tax and regulatory requirements and reporting. Monitoring the calculation, review and payment of rebate / retrocession fees and fund distributions In conjunction with the Head of Capital & Financial Management, arrange monthly reporting to committees and internal stakeholders as requested. Ensuring that all relevant accounting records of the Manco and its funds under management are properly maintained and readily available, including annual and semi-annual financial statements. Engage and manage service providers. In conjunction with the Head of Capital & Financial Management, arrange and participate in reporting to fund Boards through quarterly (and ad-hoc) Board meetings. In conjunction with the Head of Capital & Financial Management, develop and review capital and financial management oversight related policies and procedures to ensure they are sufficient to meet regulatory requirements. Invoice processing for Manco and oversight of invoice processing for funds. Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with external vendors, our Administrators/Custodians in addition to our colleagues in the funds business in Dublin and Zurich, Finance teams in Zurich and more broadly within the BJB group. Assisting other business units within TRCM and BJB with finance related queries. Attending and presenting at Committee and Board meetings as requested. Supporting the business in any assigned projects. Providing training generally and on specific issues to individuals as required. Maintaining a positive and professional work environment. Complying with appropriate internal controls within area of responsibility. Play an active role in all business initiatives, including the ongoing transformation of the TRCM business via additional scale in assets under management. YOUR PROFILE Minimum 5+ years’ experience (ACA / ACCA qualified). Experience of working in a management company or AIFM would be desirable. Experience in preparation of financial statements, management accounts and regulatory capital returns. Experience in dealing with regulators, filing regulatory returns and analysing regulations. Enthusiasm and ability to lead projects. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to be organized and to manage multiple disparate tasks. Knowledge of regulations relating to capital and financial management including UCITS regulations. Strong MS Office skills - in particular, Excel and Word. Third Level Degree preferably in Business/Accounting. Audit experience preferred. Irish and International GAAP, preferably also accounting principles applicable to Luxembourg investment funds.
