JOB REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for a curious, enthusiastic and inspired early career professional who:

  • Holds a Bachelor degree (HBO) in business economics, finance and accounting, or similar
  • Has some relevant work experience in a similar professional environment, preferably within a project-based environment
  • Has experience with supporting software (i.e. MS Excel, MS Word)
  • Is pro-active, solution-oriented and has a good eye for detail
  • Is a good communicator and likes working in a multi-cultural environment
  • Works well under pressure, is ‘hands on’
  • Has a good command of Dutch and English language, both written and spoken
  • Is enthusiastic about working for an organisation with a strong social purpose
  • Prepared to spend at least 3 days per week in the MetaMeta office in Wageningen.

  • Maintain the general ledger accounts
  • Verify content, pricing and quality of external invoices
  • Monitor the Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Reconcile general ledger and subledger accounts
  • Support the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements
  • Support the preparation of the annual budget
  • Conduct the liquidity planning and review
  • Prepare and file the quarterly VAT returns
  • Advise management where necessary
