We are seeking a Finance Accountant to play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring the precision of financial data (actuals, forecasts and budgets), managing cash flow effectively and coordinating seamless financial transactions

QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelors degree qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA), is essential.

SKILLS

• 3-4 years of experience as a finance accountant, or similar roles in a corporate setting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Oracle EPM (highly desirable) and SAP (required).
• Experience in preparing statutory financial statements and reports.

• Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, internal management reports with commentary and forecasts.
• Handle monthly accruals, prepayments and depreciation calculations.
• Reconcile balance sheets, promptly identifying and resolving any variances.
• Assist with cash and treasury functions relation to cash management (weekly cashflow) and derivatives.
• Maintain the general ledger with a focus on accuracy and proper supporting documentation.
• Assist in monitoring and analysing budget performance across client groups, highlighting areas for improvement and providing key insights to Management Accountants for better financial decision-making.
• Support the audit process by liaising with external auditors, ensuring compliance and maintaining comprehensive documentation for a successful audit outcome.
