About the role To support the maintenance and integrity of accurate and timely financial accounting, statutory compliance and internal controls across the group. Ensure the GL is the focal point of all financial recordkeeping and financial reporting. Prepare monthly intercompany invoices and ensure all intercompany accounts reconcile on a monthly basis Reconcile ALL balance sheet accounts monthly for responsible entity and understand and resolve any issues. Support the month-end and full year financial accounting processes and timetables across the Group. Maintenance of the acquisition clearing and fixed assets register ensuring appropriate classification of transactions and adherence to accounting standards Assist in inputs into financial data and reports required to support Group Reporting (annual reports, ASX releases etc) Support the periodic audit processes across the group. Preparation and submission of all required tax returns—monthly, quarterly, and annually Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws in the Philippines Adhere and support financial accounting policies within the Group. Undertake other tasks/projects as may be required from time to time. Required Skills / Experience / Attributes: Essential Finance, Accounting or other Business Degree Minimum of 3 years' experience in a variety of Finance functions with a focus on management accounting, financial modelling and business analysis to drive financial performance Highly PC literate – Excel & Access Strong business acumen (e.g. budget management, earned value, contracts) Effective communication skills - written and spoken Desirable CPA Ability to lead and act as part of a team Why Austal?
