This Is What Your Role Looks Like
Are you looking for a dynamic role in an international, fast-growing organization? As a Financial Accountant at Basic-Fit, you’ll play a key role in our Finance department, which is undergoing exciting developments. From process improvements and policy updates to the implementation of a new Cloud ERP system, you’ll be right in the middle of it all.
You’ll join our Financial Control team (18 FTE). A group of sharp, collaborative professionals who deliver high-quality financial reporting and work closely with the business. Together with the Financial Controller, you’ll ensure accurate financial records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure financial accuracy: Maintain, process, and report general ledger transactions across multiple international entities.
  • Month-end & reporting: Prepare journal entries, accruals, deferrals, reconciliations, and lead schedules to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Audit & compliance: Support external audit requirements and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Process improvements: Identify and implement efficiencies in financial processes, and document procedures and workflows.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with colleagues from Reporting & Tax, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Business Control, and other departments.
  • Ad-hoc support: Assist management with ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and financial initiatives.

Who Are You?
You are a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional with a strong analytical mindset. You enjoy solving financial challenges and thrive in a dynamic environment where you can grow and make an impact.

You also bring:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and SAP (S4/HANA) is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.
