The Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Accountant to join our team on a fixed term maternity cover role. Reporting to the Finance Manager this role is responsible for the preparation of the consolidated Financial and management accounts of CodeBlue ensuring compliance with FUJIFILM Business Innovation Group Reporting Requirements. The primary responsibilities and tasks are as below: Preparation of consolidated management and financial results in accordance with Group reporting deadlines and requirements – including review and consolidation of individual branch P&L’s and Balance Sheets Preparation of variance and trend analysis and commentary Ensure Balance Sheet reconciliation completed and reviewed Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Group Reporting schedules Provide support in the preparation of financial Statements including year-end audit requirements Preparation of FBT, GST, NRWT and the review of PAYE Provide support in the end of year income tax calculations Mentoring and support of Assistant Accountant to ensure Commissions are prepared timely and Fixed Assets are maintained accurately Assistance with ad hoc requests Ensure accounting and finance systems and processes are documented and fit for purpose Skills and experience We are looking for someone who is hands-on, experienced, accounting professional to join our team. Along with this, you will also have: 3+ years of experience working as a CA/CPA Previous experience working as part of large global group or listed corporation experience is preferred Previous experience working for an MSP or working in a similar industry would be advantageous Excellent skills in analysing and communicating financial information Strong knowledge of technical accounting, internal control, and accounting systems (Preferably MYOB Exonet) Previous experience with process review, improvement projects and documentation Experience in working with Auditors Sound understanding of NZ Tax Advanced Excel skills Benefits Superannuation contributions (on top of KiwiSaver!)
