THE KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT:

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our growing finance team. You will be required to lead and support various areas of the finance team in relation, but not limited, to:

  • Month end financial close, working closely with internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the group mgmt accounts, ensuring they are completed on time
  • Assisting with the statutory audit of the group, ensuring completed financial statements are prepared on time by external auditors/accountants
  • Management and review of opex spend in line with budgets
  • Support the finance function (AP, AR, Payroll) with sign off/approvals on weekly basis
  • Reporting of Project P&L’s on a monthly basis
  • Supporting with Financial Planning & Analysis reporting
  • Support in the preparation of the Cashflow forecast for the business
  • Quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain an attitude of continuous improvement, seeking to improve current status quo
