Description

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone with experience of participation in the preparation of an annual report and accounts and its audit. You must hold a Level 4 qualification with AAT, CCAB or CIMA and be already working towards or open to beginning a CCAB/CIMA accountancy qualification within six months of beginning the role. Prior experience of using accounting software, preferably Oracle, is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a financial accountant, you support the timely production of annual report and accounts (ARA), whole of government accounts (WGA) and all associated reports and periodic returns. You provide financial accounting advice and guidance to other finance and non-finance teams. You respond to external auditors’ requests for information, explanations and evidence at interim and year-end audit.
